THE GROWING PROBLEM

Loving parents transport their infants daily, unaware of the potential risks this simple task can present. Infants left unattended in vehicles, intentionally or unintentionally, is the cause for child Hyperthermia fatalities. Globally hundreds of infants unnecessarily die each year from over heating and heat strokes in parked cars. In the USA alone in 2018, 52 children died which led to the “Hot Car Act 2019” a legislative bill put forward in May 2019 to combat this problem. In Europe, Italy approved the Meloni Law, making it mandatory to have an alert system for all infants under the age of 4 used in vehicles. Cases are being reported from all over from Australia to China to Middle East. This has prompted Baby Car Seat manufacturers to start considering the issue, as well as a few car manufacturers. This is good news, but it will take time before these products are developed and come to market. We are of course working with Baby Car Seat Manufacturers to integrate our solution (patent in process) into their products. In the meantime we do have a simple, ready to use accessory solution to offer to immediately combat this problem.

THE SIMPLE SOLUTION

BABI smart cushion, is an easy to use safety device, designed to monitor the presence of your baby in any car seat. In the event your child is left unattended in the vehicle, an audio and visual ALARM notification will be sent to your smartphone, via the BABISIT app. and can monitor up to 4 Babi Smart Cushions at a time. The “Alert Others” feature allows you to setup additional family members or friends to receive alerts and GPS coordinates via notification from the Babisit app also. So in the case that you do not respond to the ALARM after a very short period others will be alerted of the incidence, with GPS co ordinates so they assist in rescuing the child quickly avoiding any harm coming to the unattended child.

Babi Alert works with the BABI Smart cushion with and without the App.

Without the App: Babi Alert -S is the primary alarm device, it will sound an audio alarm and give a visual alarm, when the driver has moved away from the vehicle and a child Has been forgotten and is left unattended in their car seat. (Without App the babi alert can manage up to 4 babi smart cushions and 1 babi safe accessory device)

With the App: Babi Alert - S is a secondary alarm device, It will sound an audio alarm and give a visual alarm when the user has moved away from the vehicle and left his mobile phone in the vehicle along with an infant unattended in their baby car seat. The alarm will sound until the user has returned to the vehicle and removed the infant from the car seat. If the alarm is not resolved the App will send an alert message with the GPS co ordinates to the other preset users. (With App the Babi alert can monitor upto Babi Smart cushions)
